Brief biography

Michael Gemignani has a Ph.D. in Mathematics from Notre Dame and a J.D. from Indiana University School of Law - Indianapolis.  He is also an ordained Episcopal priest who currently serves as Associate Rector of St. Michael's Episcopal Church, La Marque.  His career in academia included serving as Dean of Sciences and Humanities at Ball State University, Dean of Arts and Sciences at the University of Maine and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs at the University of Houston - Clear Lake.  He left academia in 1991 to become Rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church, Freeport, retiring from there in 2007 to move to League City with his wife Nilda.  Michael is the author of 14 books in the areas of mathematics, computer science, law and spiritual development.  He is the author of more than 100 articles in various trade, professional and scholarly publications.  His most recent book, MAKING YOUR CHURCH A HOUSE OF HEALING from Judson Press, was just released in August.  He is now trying to break into fiction and is represented by Leslie Rivers, International.
