B.A.W.L. Monthly Flash Fiction Contest
B.A.W.L. is hosting a monthly flash fiction contest. Rules: A photo will be posted on the web-site on the 1st of each month. Entries should be based on or inspired by the photo (in some way, shape, or form), and should be no more than 100 words (not including title and byline) and must be received through e-mail before 11:59 PM on the the last day of the month. Only 1 entry per person per month. The winner will be selected and announced at the next month’s meeting, and the winning entry will be posted on the website with the picture the day of the meeting. The contest is open to the public - you do not need to be a member of B.A.W.L. to submit an entry or win. Dates:
The contest opens on the 1st of each month. Please have any submissions in before the the last day of the month at 11:59 PM. The winner will be announced at the following monthly meeting, and the winning entry will appear on the website.

Volunteers and Photos Needed:
We are currently looking for volunteers to judge the contest as well as photos that can be used in the contest. To be a judge, please e-mail us at: info@bawl.org To submit a photo, please attach it as a .jpg or .gif. The maximum size is 600 by 600 pixels and should be a minimum of 72 dpi resolution. Photos must be yours or you must have permission to provide them.
